Lake Chios is the water in Central Park of Cluj. Its name is taken from the Chios Casino Restaurant, which lies at its edge.

After a walk through the park, the banches on the edge of the lake are ideal for you to rest and admire the small island in the center of the lake, the wild ducks – which for years the lake is their home, or sailing boats that move slowly on the surface of the water.
In summer you can rent a boat or a bicycle, for a 30-minute ride prices are as follows:
- boat, children must pay 3 lei and adults 6 lei.
- by bicycle, the rates are: for children 4 lei and adults 8 lei.
During the winter after it is formed a thick layer of ice, Lake Chios is a beautiful natural ice rink which is attended by inhabitants of Cluj of all ages.
In the evening, the lake gets another charm of yellow light bulbs that illuminate it.

Besides the beauty of Lake Chios, one can admire the other places in Central Park. Near the lake there is:
- basketball court area and fitness equipment
- a beautiful fountain
- building of the old casino
- the imposing building of the Casino Chios
- children can ride pony carts which are for rent
Note: Chios Lake is not a place where you can fish or swim.
